UPDATE: APRIL 6, 2021
UPDATE ON SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES
After working with the City of Calgary, the fire department, safety inspectors and other key partners, we’ve been informed that on Thursday, April 8 we’ll safely gain access to the building to assess the situation and arrange to securely move the safety deposit boxes.
When we’re able to move the safety deposit boxes, we’ll be taking all the necessary precautions to safeguard them and will reach out to each impacted member directly to set up a time to access the contents in a new location.
We understand the concern and sense of urgency and are working hard to get you access as soon as is safe. In the meantime, the site continues to have 24/7 security.

UPDATE: MARCH 21, 2021
Our Northgate branch experienced a fire late Saturday, March 20, 2021.
It appears to have started on the west side of the building in a nearby dumpster and made its way through the roof of the building. We are told the fire started around 9:45 pm and lasted until 10 am Sunday morning. Security and fencing is in place around the building.
The building is structurally unsafe, which has restricted the ability to get inside and fully assess damage.
Fortunately, no one was injured, however, as a result, this location will be closed until further notice. Please rest assured that the branch is well secured as it is being repaired.
