Stepping Stones Grants
STEPPING STONES GRANTS - IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CALGARY FOUNDATION
These small grants encourage active citizenship by helping residents undertake small, creative projects that benefit their local community in the following ways:
- Encourage Calgarians to be more involved in their local neighbourhoods and communities
- Build on participants' interests, concerns and talents
- Welcome and involve a diversity of people and groups
- Take people's ideas into action
- Demonstrate and develope local leadership
- Create new opportunities
Application Criteria:
- Funding Requests for $100 - $600
- Applications accepted from individual organizers, neighbourhood groups and charitable organizations
- Applications due by midnight of the 1st of every month

Since 2006, over $200,000 has been put into over 400 citizen-led community building projects, through the Stepping Stones grant program.
